Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup chopped dried figs
  • 12 oz LaClare Cranberry Cinnamon Goat Cheese, room temperature
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
  • ⅓ cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 2 TB maple syrup
  • Crackers or toasted bread slices

the instructions

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Add figs and ½ cup hot water to a small bowl. Cover and let stand until soft, about 5 minutes. Drain liquid.
  3. Mix figs and softened Cranberry Cinnamon Goat Cheese in a medium-size bowl until well combined.
  4. Spread goat cheese into an even layer in a nonstick 8-inch pie pan.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until edges are slightly brown and dip is bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack. Sprinkle with bacon and pecans; drizzle with maple syrup.
  7. Serve with crackers or toasted bread slices.
